A DECOR & ENTERTAINING GUIDE

Amanda has always had a love for entertaining and making spaces around her beautiful, so FashionableHostess.com began organically. Amanda started by sharing photos of cheeseboards and cocktails, and soon expanded to her favorite picks from her wedding registry. As Amanda posted more content around her home, her Instagram and Pinterest grew in popularity. Less than a year later, Amanda was asked to become a contributing editor to beloved wedding registry website “Style Me Pretty”. The Fashionable Hostess Instagram following grew to over one hundred thousand followers, while the FH Pinterest grew to over two hundred thousand monthly views.

What started in Amanda’s one bedroom apartment in NYC evolved to styling her first home and her first baby nursery, and what started as styling small cocktail parties evolved into styling over-the-top Thanksgiving tables and decadent dinner parties. Amanda began partnering with well-known brands like Neiman Marcus, Pottery Barn, Frontgate, and Villeroy & Boch, to name a few. (A wide range of her collaborations can be found here).

In 2017, Amanda launched a concept called “FH Blogger Events” where she hosted events that connected lifestyle and spirits brands with small groups of influencers (at gorgeously styled events she designed). These events were a huge success; they were mutually beneficial as the small brands reached top influencers in an intimate way, while the cross-promotion and social postings benefitted everyone in attendance. Partnerships included brands like Lenox China, Thymes candles, Cabot Cheese, and Harney & Sons Tea.

Over the years, Amanda’s homes and tablescape stylings have received recognition in Martha Stewart, Elle Decor, Better Homes & Gardens, Style Me Pretty, Glitter Guide, Bridal Guide, HGTV.com, and Domino. Amanda has hosted large scale store openings for Pottery Barn as well as Holiday Gifting Suites for Neiman Marcus.

So why follow Fashionable Hostess? Amanda hopes that in sharing her dinner parties, holiday decor, cheese boards, and home updates, that she will inspire others to live their best and prettiest life, to take pride in their home, and to love having people over (with a few new tricks up their sleeve).

Amanda now resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
