6 Month Baby: Striped Tank

Family Stripes

This past week I had a meeting at the Host Committee office to discuss the final details of my upcoming “Most Fashionable Hostess” Host Committee Party Thursday, August 1st {tickets are still on sale HERE}. In the summer-time I love wearing dresses to meetings because you can throw them on in a second and VOILA you are dressed and ready to hit the road (which is especially helpful when you have a little one to dress as well). I am still obsessing over the “stripe” trend {see other stripe posts here and here}, so I went with this fun and flirty Parker Lolly dress. While the last time I wore it was out on a date, I made it day-time appropriate by wearing it with minimal heeled sandals and simple accessories like the Leighelena cuff {that I also wore here}. The FHB saw my stripes and decided she wanted in on the trend as well. Little did she {or I} realize that she was going to be photographed… so it was pretty perfect that we were matching. Thankfully Host Committee had tons of fun sunglasses, light sticks, and beach balls {all props that they provide for their pool parties!} available to distract the FHB while our meeting went on. I must say even though she required a tad bit more attention than I hoped she would need during a busy meeting, she did do a pretty darn good job modeling those stripes and props, once again stealing the photographers heart as well as many members of the Host Committee staff.
