As much as I love the transition to my winter wardrobe, Christmas music, and red Starbucks cups, I am not as in love with the effects winter has on my body – chapped lips, dry hands, random headaches, woof! In an effort to stay adorable and comfortable no matter where my day may take me, I have put together a small survival kit that has everything I may need when winter strikes (*of course taking into account that it must fit into all purse sizes, because who doesn’t change their purse daily!) And of course, what fun would a survival kit be without an adorable bag to boot?! I am obsessed with my Origami Pink Pouch (with my monogram) from Boulevard Bags (*Check them out HERE!)! So hurry up and pack your own emergency kit… or put one together as the perfect holiday gift!
Survival Kit: Boulevard Origami Pouch ($21 plus $5 to monogram!) 1. Lip savior (and great for dry cuticles too!): Aquafor. 2. No more dry hands and elbows: Soap & Glory Hand Food moisturizes and smells delicious! 3. I hate you Migraine!! Tylenol Extra Strength to the rescue! 4. Dry Mouth and no water? Minty Orbit gum will help water up your dry pout. 5. Dull winter white skin doesn’t necessitate a trip to the tanning bed. Hit those cheek bones with a peach colored cream blush. I got this one at Top Shop called Blush in a Flush for only $12! (And how cute are those polka dots on the packaging?!) 6. Gusty winds causing your eyes to water/ makeup to run? I always keep eyeliner and mascara on hand for pre-dinner touch ups! Another Top Shop steal – Kohl Pencil Eyeliner (only $8!) and my absolute mascara obsession (beware – this is meant for gals who want EXTREMELY THICK … I am talking borderline clumpy but not quite, LONG lashes) Givenchy Noir Couture Mascara. Take THAT winter!!
